Hi!

I have been entertaining young children for over 20 years, performing, and writing, musical Concerts for Kids. I am currently offering a classroom songwriting workshop called:
“Compose, Yourself! with Julie Garnett”,
for pre-K through 3rd grade classrooms.

I discuss how to create your own songs, I perform some interactive songs I’ve written, and end the 40 minute program with the kids and I writing a song together (using a topic they’ve been working on in class).

I have recently begun to produce a new series of Kids Music Videos called: “Julie Garnett’s Values Vids for Kids”.

The first in the series is “Different”, a music video celebrating the wonderful ways we are all…well…different 🙂

My goal is to gently help re-enforce the importance of the values kids are being taught at home, and in school (sharing, tolerance, kindness, respect etc….).

“Different”, from my album “Wishing”, (as well as “PoOPeD!”, from my award winning Lullaby album “PoOPeD!”), are both currently airing on RI PBS stations. Both albums, and individual songs from the albums, are available to download on this site.
